Beautiful colors. Bloom is a bit streaky as the other reviews said.

I have never bought Makeup Monsters product berfore and was afraid to commit to one color for $15.95, I thought that 3 minis for the price of $25 was more reasonable, in case I did not like them I could gift them to my daughters but I love them! I don't have a lot of experience with liquid lipsticks but they far exceeded what expectations I had!

    Mini bundle

I love sandtrap the colour is amazing and the staying power is as good as the others I've tried. Spell and bloom are slightly patchy, which is the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5.

    LOVE Spell! But Bloom...

Posted by Ali Hammond on 18th May 2017

I was really excited for Bloom, but it's VERY streaky. Even with a second coat, it just doesn't look great. Sandtrap is a nice light brown nude, it's a great everyday color. Spell is my new favorite. It's a very pretty sort of periwinkle. It definitely goes on more like a matte, though. As long as I use a thin coat and moisturise beforehand I don't have a problem with any of their products being too drying. Less is more! All in all, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Bloom was disappointing , it was the shade i was most looking forward to as it was streaky . However Spell & Sandtrap are clearly the winners in this bundle , GORGEOUS SHADE .

I can't really wear a matte liquid lipstick without a balm over and under it. But I needed an opaque and long lasting lipstick for my 9 hour work days. I was excited to try the satin versions as soon as possible. They are all mattes. The satin are basically mattes that is slightly transfer proof. They wear and feel like a matte on my lips. I guess I'm just too dry for any matte formula. I guess I was hoping for a more creamy version. That being said I think Spell and Sandtrap are wonderful. Spell is a perfect lavender without it looking grey or white. It looks great on my olive to warm tone skin. It is my favorite of the bunch. But Bloom, The one I was really interested in trying disappointed me very much. It was streaky and patchy and I could not get it right before it started to dry down. All in all I love some and was disappointed with one. I hope one day that you will turn these beautiful colors into a lipstick tubes.

I bought this on a whim and so far I really like the quality of the products! Not too drying yet long wearing, excellent packaging and price point was good :)

    More colors, please!

I bought this because I love Satin Matte formulas, love the aesthetic of MakeupMonsters, but knew their matte formula is too powerdy for me. This formula is not as creamy as say, Colourpop's Ultra Satins, but matte and comfy and nice. I love Spell, would love to see this and more colors added.
